Here I’ll go over the pros and cons of this all-in-one trimmer. For the money, it’s a great product overall, but it’s not exactly flawless. First I’ll list the ups of using the Multigroom 3100.

The price is very low for a pretty good trimmer. At less than $20, this is a great bargain as the trimmer generally works quite well. The Philips Norelco Multigroom 3100 is a great value.

The battery keeps a charge for a long time. You will rarely need to plug it up for a full charge.

It’s easy to clean. The fact that it’s water resistant is great because washing it with soap and water gets it way cleaner than just a brush.

The size and weight of the trimmer are both good and it is comfortable in the hand.

Though this trimmer is a really great value, it definitely has a few cons. Listed below are the downs of the Multigroom 3100.

The Philips Norelco Multigroom 3100 cannot be used by simply plugging it in while the battery is completely dead. The product still uses the battery all the time. The cord simply charges the battery, but since it doesn’t directly power the trimmer, your battery needs some juice to work. And you can’t charge the Multigroom 3100 while you’re using it. You need to switch it off in order for it to charge. That also means if your battery dies, you can say goodbye to the Philips Norelco Multigroom 3100.

It doesn’t come with a storage bag for any of the extra heads. You’ll have to use something to from home to put them all in.

A full charge takes 10 hours, which is a long time. 35 minutes of run time is also a pretty good amount if you turn it off anytime you’re not passing it over your face. You can make it last.

Without the guard, the trimmer causes nicks and cuts. Simply leave the guard on and it will be fine.

When using the smaller guard, you need to hold it steady or your trim may come out uneven. If you tilt it to the side by accident, it may trim deeper than you intended.
